Session II: Ontology

Resources

A supporting set of reference resources for participants to utilize for the scrimmage and related actions.

eNanoMapper and other initiatives have developed a substantial ontology to be used in nanotechnology and safety assessment. This ontology can be used for harmonization purposes, ensuring a common description and reporting format. Based on the case study interaction and discussion, the participants will evaluate how the ontology is supporting the scientific and regulatory needs, what the gaps are and further actions.

1. Browsing the eNanoMapper ontology with Bioportal, Aberowl and Protégé

2. Using the ontology in searching on  http://search.data.enanomapper.net

3. Survey

The web application for NanoEHS Scrimmage 2.0 is supported by eNanoMapper a project receiving funding within the European Commission's 7th Framework Programme (Grant Agreement No. 604134).
